| 01/07/04 11 hours later than last update. I got a hell of laugh out of this from Big Three posted at Links Corner. What is Ape Time? It is a question as old as Mother Earth. Through the centuries many of Earth’s greatest civilizations have pondered this question. From ancient Babylonia to modern times, this question has been asked. Some researchers believe that even pre-historic man may have wondered about this question. There are cave drawings that show an ape-like figure, with rows and rows of alternating suns and moons overhead. The ape is surrounded by what are presumably cavemen, with their stick figure shoulders hunched upwards in a shrugging fashion. Ancient Roman documents make reference to the question being asked in the days of Caesar and Marc Anthony; What is Apius Timus? There are those that believe the answer may lay in some yet unfound document or tablet – an Ape time version of the Rosetta Stone perhaps. Still others believe that the answer to “What is Ape time” lays far beneath the ocean, buried amid rubble and covered with thousands upon thousands of years of sand and silt. The answer to this question may be just another victim of the loss of the continent of Atlantis. Some researchers believe that the answer may be entombed with some unknown pharaoh, or hidden away in the dark recesses of the ancient Egyptian pyramids. And yet there are scholars and theologians who are convinced that the answer may reside in The Old Testament, perhaps even in the Book of Genesis. This makes the answer potentially beyond what our human minds can conceive. In modern days, even Hollywood has searched for the elusive answer in movies like Planet of the Ape Time. Yet none have been successful in finding out the truth. However, others with even more wisdom than those who have gone before them, believe that the answer is in the here and now. They believe that the answer is held by those who have spoken a solemn oath to never reveal their knowledge of such things. Forbidden to display even the slightest hint that they know the truth about Ape time. A Secret Society that acknowledges each other while passing by in the street, barely perceptible to you and I; a movement of an eyebrow, the twitch of an ear, a slight movement of the pinkie finger. A Society so secret that their ritual handshake is only performed in the dark bowels of a basement hideaway, away from the prying eyes of those of us who wonder about such goings on. This sacred Union, some believe, holds the true answer to “What is Ape-time”. Then again, there are those who think they know the answer, but are not quite sure. To them, the answer is easy. It simply means “It will be done when it is done”. Big Three Of course I found this while taking a break from click here BTW
